The folks at ChargeSini sure are not afraid to forge ahead with electrifying mall basement parking knowing well that the EV Charger installation guidelines are still nowhere near finalised. The recent activation of ChargeSini’s DC Chargers at The Curve, Damansara surely proves that.

For the convenience of EV drivers visiting the mall or living nearby, ChargeSini has installed four units of their latest Autel 47kW DCFC strategically located near the entry escalator at Basement Carpark 1, Pillar N5 and N6. These four Autel units are outfitted with dual CCS2 charging guns, allowing them to charge up to eight EVs at once.

Similar to any dual gun DC chargers, these changing units would be able to deliver up to 47kWh if only one EV is plugged in and would half the output to 23.5kWh if two EV are plugged in simultaneously.

To begin utilising the ChargeSini EV Charger, users must first download the ChargeSini smartphone app, which is available for both Android and iOS. All ChargeSini charging stations come fitted with automatic parking barriers that lower down to facilitate charging based on customer input through their mobile app.

However do take note that the parking barriers at The Curve are still not active therefore users are advised to manually lower down the barrier should they wish to use the EV Chargers. Do remember to put it up once you are down to prevent ICE’ing.

The charging rate offered via the ChargeSini app is variable based on minutes of usage and the kW charge rate. For example a full 47kWh session would set you back RM0.80 per minute while a 23kWh session would cost you RM0.40 per minute.

Chargesini-Curve-Caricarz-(4).jpgThe ChargeSini Autel DCFC automatically splits 47kW to maximum 23.5kW per charging gun once two EV's are plugged in.

All ChargeSini sessions would be subject to a minimum RM5 reservation fee and drivers are given a 15 minute grace period to remove their vehicle once their charging session has ended. Users who fail to remove their vehicle would be charged an idle fee of RM1 for every 5 minutes the vehicle is left hogging the charging bay.
