Refreshed 2023 Mercedes-Benz A250 4Matic AMG Line Price Confirmed – RM263,888
The refreshed 2023MY Mercedes-Benz A250 4Matic AMG Line model sees its priced confirmed at RM263,888 sans insurance.
First previewed back in June this year, the face-lifted 2023 Mercedes-Benz A250 4Matic AMG Line compact sedan (or ‘limousine’, as the marque prefers to call its four-door saloons) price has been confirmed. Refreshed for the new model year, it’s now tagged at RM263,888 sans insurance.
This is more less close to the initial estimated price figure of RM264,000 announced by Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) during said model’s official launch and preview several months ago, which also saw the introduction of the refreshed A200 Progressive Line base model, as well as the A35 and A45 AMG duo too. Locally assembled by MBM at its facility in Pekan, Pahang, the A250 4Matic AMG Line sees a host of refreshments inside and out.
As noted prior, exterior changes in this 2023MY refresh are mild, but does see restyled headlights, grille, and front bumper.
Exterior changes are mild, but does include newly restyled headlights, grille, and front bumper. Underneath said metal comes a switch in powertrain, with this updated version adopting a new mild-hybrid (MHEV) 2.0-litre 4-cyl turbo heart featuring a 48-volt integrated stater generator (ISG) module.
Though it outputs the same 224 HP and 350 NM as before, the ISG’s added 10 HP and 150 NM boost promises both refined performance and improved efficiency. Also new is the addition of the marque’s 4Matic all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup replacing the previous front-wheel-drive (FWD) setup.
Mechanically, the 2023MY refresh also sees the A250 4Matic AMG Line gaining a new 2.0-litre 4-cyl turbo MHEV heart plus all-wheel-drive (AWD).
On board, changes here are minimal like the exterior, but there are several small but key changes to note. It includes a repositioned touchpad to allow access to a new storage bin in the centre stack, new Dynamic Access drive modes toggle button, fingerprint sensor, and the latest MBUX infotainment suite.
Upgraded too is the Active Steering Control that now supports a 360-degree camera with 3D imaging and longitudinal parking assistance. Apart from what we’ve detailed, little else has changed with this mid-specced flavour of arguably the three-point star’s smallest and most affordable four-door sedan yet.
On board, changes are minimal here too. Notable here is the repositoned central trackpad, new drive mode toggle buttons, and an updated MBUX infotainment suite featuring a fingerprint sensor.
By the way, you can view both price and availability of the refreshed Mercedes-Benz A250 4Matic AMG Line detailed, as well as other models and variant, via MBM’s new online showroom. Called the ‘Mercedes-Benz Store’, this new online retail sales channel comes as part of the brand’s shift to an agency retail model.
“This new approach brings a host of benefits from providing our customers the true luxury of time – a luxury that enables customers to interact with our brand on their terms, at their convenience,” says Amanda Zhang, newly-installed CEO and President of MBM.
The refreshed 2023 Mercedes-Benz A250 4Matic AMG Line is now available for bookings and purchase online via MBM's new 'Mercedes-Benz Store', which comes part of MBM's shift to agency retail model.
Through the Mercedes-Benz Store, customers can conveniently switch between the Mercedes-Benz Store and or its retail network, regardless of whether they want to exchange ideas with product experts or authorised agents; obtain information, or even conclude their purchase contracts online, vehicle sales, flexible financing options, maintenance and repair services, genuine parts availability, and warranty support.
According to MBM, the introduction of the Mercedes-Benz Store and its integration with its network of retail partners aims to provide convenient accessibility as a means towards ensuring a holistic ownership experience is delivered to customers.
Despite a shift to an agency retail model, MBM reiterates that its retail partners (authorised dealers) still play pivotal roles towards customers.
Despite shifting to an agency model, MBM reiterates that its network of retail partners still play pivotal roles in delivering a luxurious experience to customers. They’re now tasked with ensuring a seamless customer journey of omni-channel experience, starting from the initial research phase until the vehicle handover.
Moreover, this new agency model also offers its retail partners the opportunity to concentrate even more than before on customers and supporting them, according to MBM.
