As per the oral response provided by the Ministry of Transport on the Parliament website, the wait time for the Kelana Jaya queue could potentially be as short as three minutes during peak hours by month-end.
The LRT Kelana Jaya line has reached a peak frequency of 3.8 minutes, as confirmed by the Ministry of Transport. Therefore, by the end of this month, we should be able to anticipate it reaching the target of three minutes. This is one month beyond the original schedule.

"Prasarana Malaysia Bhd (Prasarana) has made several efforts to improve train service frequency. Three four-coach trains (for the Kelana Jaya line) commenced operations in September 2023.
Additionally, the LRT line will add 27 new train sets to its schedule for KLAV 27. Last month, three new four-coach train sets were included in this. By December 2024, 16 additional trains will progressively be added to Rapid KL, according to the plan. The current 2-car trains that operate the LRT will gradually be replaced by these 4-coach sets.
"The remaining 16 trains will be received in stages until December 2024 under the Kuala Lumpur Additional Vehicles 27 (KLAV27) project,” it said.

The Ministry of Transport also announced that it will increase the MRT Kajang line's frequency from six to four minutes. Additionally, the train operator is implementing special programmes to fix train parts that break down frequently.
