The Nissan Hyper Tourer, the Japanese’s third electric vehicle (EV) concept, slated to appear at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 (JMS 2023).

An all-electric minivan, it will break cover alongside the Nissan Hyper Urban and the Nissan Hyper Adventure EV concepts.

Exterior-wise, it looks upright and boxy, featuring smooth body panels and sharp edges, aerodynamically flowing from fender to fender.

Unique is the white waistline and the set of ‘Kumiko’ rims. The former, thinly wrapping the body, also serves as the head and signature lamps.

Interior-wise, the overhead console and lighting see the blend of ‘Kumiko’ and ‘Koushi’ patterns, while the flat LED floor panel displays serene images.

Innovatively built, the front seats can rotate 360 degrees, and the rear seats come with a wearable display, which allows access to the front centre display.

Also incorporated is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) system that monitors the passengers’ biometric signs, and automatically sets the music and lighting to accommodate.

Besides that, the cabin is spacious with a flat floor, courtesy of the Nissan EV Technology Vision. A form of build that fuses components and the solid-state batteries.

Performance-wise, not much is known except for its e-4ORCE all-wheel drive system and all-solid-state battery underpinnings. Aiding that is a fully-autonomous drive system.

Additionally, it also serves as a powerbank on wheels with its Vehicle-To-Everything (V2X) capability. It can supply electricity to appliances, homes, and even offices.

That said, according to Nissan, the Hyper Tourer is created with the blend of ‘Omotenashi’ (Japanese hospitality) and advanced technology, forecasting the future of all-electric minivans.
