Tesla Experience Centre Coming to Pavilion Damansara Heights Mall

Tesla Malaysia is building its second experience facility right in the heart of the affluent Damansara neighbourhood in Kuala Lumpur, which is bordered by other fellow upmarket areas like Bangsar, Hartamas, and Bukit Tunku.
The new experience facility would be located on Level 2 at the Damansuria entrance of the recently opened Pavilion Damansara Heights Mall. The experience centre is still undergoing renovations, and it's anticipated to open later this month.

This facility would act as a one-stop centre for customers interested in any of the two Tesla models offered in Malaysia – the Model Y and Model 3. Potential buyers would be able to get up close and personal with the offerings before committing to a purchase, similar to what’s offered at the first Tesla experience centre in Cyberjaya. All Tesla vehicle sales, however, can only be performed online via Tesla Malaysia’s official website.
Additionally, Tesla's destination charging station (there isn't supercharging here, alas) would also be located at the Pavilion Damansara Heights. Located at car park level B1 of the mall, a total of nine (9) Tesla destination chargers are available, with only five being publicly accessible to Tesla owners and the remaining four reserved for internal use.

Similar to the newly-opened Tesla Supercharging station at Sunway Pyramid, these destination chargers are only opened for Tesla owners, meaning that users of other EV brands are not allowed to use them.

As a refresher, Tesla Malaysia initially committed to open 30% of its initial 50 Superchargers for multiple brand usage, which is part and parcel of their rapid entrant into our local market space. With this latest Tesla destination chargers not opened to other brands (for now), perhaps non-Tesla EV owners can look forward to other upcoming Supercharger locations for that…
