Following the recent inauguration of a 100kW DC fast charging station at Proton showroom along the KESAS highway, the company has now rolled out several high-powered DC fast charging stations at Smart Glenmarie (EON Berhad) and Smart Ipoh (GB Ipoh) in the central region, both now equipped with new 60 kW DC chargers, as well as Smart Penang (Eleganz Lifestyle), with a 120 kW DC fast charger making it the highest-powered charger in its network.

Smart Malaysia stated that the deployment of these high-powered DC charging stations demonstrates the company's commitment to providing fast and efficient charging solutions that will soon be available to the public.
The company's recent update to the Hello Smart app now allows customers to access real-time availability information on chargers in Malaysia, thanks to its collaboration with Malaysian charge point operators such as ChargeEV, Gentari, and JomCharge. For now, 70% of public charging points are included into the app.
