Tesla Sunway Pyramid Supercharger – RM1.25/kWh + RM5/hour Parking Fee

Earlier today, Tesla Malaysia opened its third Supercharging station at Sunway Pyramid in Selangor. This facility follows the opening of Supercharging facilities at Sunway Big Box, Johor Bahru and Pavilion KL recently. Four (4) 250kW Tesla V3 Supercharger units would be housed at this location.

However do take note that this facility is reserved exclusively for Tesla owners, hence it cannot accommodate vehicles from other brands. This raises the question of where the 30% multi-brand Superchargers required by the BEV Global Leaders Initiative are to be located.

Tesla owners would be able to use the Sunway Pyramid Supercharging facility at any time of day for RM1.25/kWh. But do keep in mind that when owners park their Tesla's to charge, they will also be charged RM5 per hour parking fee. Additionally, once charging has ended, owners who leave their cars behind will be charged an idle fee of up to RM4 each minute.
