At the recent World Motor Sport Council meeting in Baku, the FIA has warded Bridgestone Corporation as the exclusive tyre supplier for the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. This is set to effect from the 2026-2027 season until the 2029-2030 season.
This decision aligns with Bridgestone's sustainable global motorsports strategy, which emphasises the development of eco-friendly technology and innovation.

Bridgestone sees this partnership with the FIA as a crucial element in its drive to contribute to the future of mobility through sustainable motorsports initiatives, extending its commitment beyond the race track.

He continued by noting Bridgestone's commitment to the "challenge for excellence" as the foundation of its premium tire business. Looking ahead, the company aims to evolve its sustainable global premium motorsports products by focusing on the expansion and enhancement of the "ENLITEN®" tire product technology. This approach will enable ultimate customisation, defining a new premium standard in the era of electric vehicles (EV).
Bridgestone is eager to commence its Formula E activities starting from the 2026-2027 season. The company's overarching goal is to embody its corporate commitment to inspiring excitement and spreading joy in the world of mobility, as outlined in the "Bridgestone E8 Commitment," through its sustainable global premium motorsports endeavours.
