A sales representative at a Honda dealership in PJ made headlines after allegedly engaging in fraudulent activities. According to a post on Malaysia Automotive Shitposting, over 10 customers have suffered significant financial losses totaling more than one million ringgit.
The sales representative is said to have vanished after collecting deposits and full payments from customers but failing to deliver their vehicles, prompting a manhunt.

However, the said dealer has confirmed that the suspect is no longer employed there.
The Facebook post also mentioned that the sales rep meticulously planned this scheme, as she had set up a company account to collect full payments. Customers paid in cash in some cases at the showroom, and she falsely claimed that the company's system was down, preventing receipts from being printed.
Instead, she gave the customers handwritten receipts.
Only after the dealership informed the customers that they had not made any payments and would not be able to pick up their vehicles did they realise they had been duped.

The victims are urging anyone who purchased a car from the sales rep and later discovered they had been duped to contact the authorities immediately.
It should be noted that these are allegations that have not been confirmed by authorities.
The case serves as a reminder to consumers to exercise caution when dealing with large sums of money and to double-check all transactions before making payments.
