Launched: Audi Q8 e-tron Line-Up – Up To 487 KM Range, From RM383,990 Onwards

PHSAM introduces the Audi Q8 e-tron EV SUVs range in Malaysia with four variants in total.
Besides the sleek and sporty Audi e-tron GT quattro four-door fastbacks, Audi brand custodians PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM) also officially introduced the recently refreshed Audi Q8 e-tron and Q8 Sportback e-tron EV SUVs range for Malaysia today.
As noted, Malaysia is the first in ASEAN to see both models on sale. Formerly known simply as the e-tron, PHSAM is offering the standard SUV-bodied Q8 e-tron and sleeker Q8 Sportback e-tron in either advanced 50 quattro and S line 55 quattro guises.

Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron (left) and Audi Q8 e-tron (right) are easily set apart by theirstrikingly different bodystyles.
As announced earlier this year, all four variants share similar dual-motor and all-wheel-drive setups. There’s a difference in power outputs and performance between the advanced and S line, but all share the same peak torque of 664 NM. Power figures read at 340 PS in both the advanced-trimmed variants, and a higher 408 PS instead in S line variants.
In terms of performance, advanced variants see 0-100 KM/H sprints despatched in 6 seconds whilst the S line duo does the same in 5.6 seconds instead. As for range, this is dependent on both trimline and bodystyles. We’ll be brief by noting that the lowest reads at 410 KM (Q8 e-tron advanced 50 quattro) whilst the highest reads at 487 KM (Q8 Sportback S line 55).

Lower-end guises get a 95 kWh battery that accepts 11 kW (AC) and 150 kW (DC) inputs. Higher-end offerings sees a larger 115 kWh unit with higher 22 kW (AC) and 170 kW (DC) inputs instead.
Battery capacities also set each trimline apart, with both advanced variants harnessing a 95 kWh capacity plus acceptance of both 11kW regular AC and 150 kW DC fast charging inputs. The former provides full recharges in about 9.5 hours whilst the latter does rapid 0-80% recharges in just 28 minutes.
Higher-end S line guises get primed with a larger 114 kWh battery capacity instead, along with acceptance for higher 22 kW regular AC and 170 kW DC fast charging inputs. Full recharges via the former takes 6 hours whilst the latter sees quick 0-80% recharges done in 31 minutes instead.

Specific to the S-line variants are the adoption of side-view cameras and screens instead of mirrors.
In terms of kit, the base Q8 e-tron advanced 50 quattro gets adaptive air suspension, 20-inch Graphite Gray five-arm dynamic style alloy wheels, ‘mono.pur 550’ artificial leather upholstery, LED headlamps with high-beam assist, High-Gloss styling package, leatherette dash, and aluminium interior trims with gloss black buttons.
As for tech, the the Audi virtual cockpit plus 12.3-inch digital driver display, and the MMI Navigation plus infotainment system with touch response are primed. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, powered front seats with driver-side memory function, quad-zone climate control, Audi drive select, powered tailgate, eight airbags, front- and rear collision warning with AEB, ACC (with speed limiter, efficiency assist, swerve assist, and turn assist), LDW, BSM, as well as front and rear cross traffic assist are all present too.
Audi virtual cockpit plus 12.3-inch digital driver display, and MMI Navigation plus infotainment system with touch response are primed as standard across the range.
In the Q8 e-tron S line 55 quattro, the list is bolstered with 21-inch five-spoke black turbine style wheels, Valcona leather upholstery, matrix LED headlamps, illuminated grille, panoramic glass sunroof, illuminated S line scuff plates, sporty flat-bottomed steering, air ioniser for the climate system, power-assisted door closing, and side-view cameras plus screens instead of mirrors.
For the Sportback duo, the equipment levels the standard-bodied Q8 e-tron twins. There are some differences such as the addition of sport adaptive air suspension, 20-inch Graphite Gray Aero ring wheels (advanced) or Audi Sport 21-inch Black Metallic five-spoke Aero wheels (S line), Valcona leather, matrix LED headlamps, Black Styling package, red calipers, and decorative inserts in dark Matte Brushed finishing.
Here are the prices for all variants:

| Q8 e-tron S line 55 quattro | RM474,990 |
| Q8 Sportback e-tron advanced 50 quattro | RM389,990 |
