This Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Pickup Comes with ARB Camping Gears

Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Expedition Edition
Isuzu UK has launched a new special edition pickup truck, cordially known as the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Expedition Edition. Unlike the standard double-cab D-Max, this special model comes equipped with special camping equipment provided by renowned 4x4 accessories maker ARB.

This special D-Max gets camping gears from ARB, including a roof-mounted tent and extended awning
Premiered at The Game Fair in Warwickshire, UK, this special edition D-Max is draped in its signature Valencia Orange exterior hue, while its tailgate comes standard with a topper cover. Above said topper and the truck’s actual roof lies an actual tent with an extended awning to the side that is finished in the same orange hue as the exterior.

The tailgate also comes with a full-swing kitchen!
Aside from the topper, the D-Max’s tailgate also comes with a whole kitchen, featuring stowable drawers, a cooktop, sink, preparation area, counters, as well as a fridge box.

As for the rest, the D-Max Expedition Edition remains pretty much the same as its standard counterparts. Under the hood, it packs a 1.9-litre 4-cyl turbodiesel mill that makes 162 HP and 361 NM, which drives this midsize truck from nought to 100 KM/H in about 12.7 seconds. For the UK market, the D-Max comes with either a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox options that facilitate the power delivery to all four wheels (AWD).
In spite of carrying the heavy camping equipment, the D-Max Expedition Edition is still capable of towing loads up to 3.5 tonnes, while having a payload capacity of just over one tonne (1,164 KG).
On board, you’ll get a slew of modern amenities found on the standard D-Max truck. Highlights include its 9-inch central infotainment display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, leather upholstery, powered and heated front seats, reverse camera system, and many more.

The limited-edition Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Expedition Edition is now available for booking in any authorised Isuzu dealers in the UK. While Isuzu UK did not unveil the official price for this souped-up, adventure-ready truck, we expect it will be substantially higher than the standard D-Max V-Cross, which retails at £34,279 (RM201,790).
So folks, what do you think of this adventure-ready Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Expedition Edition? Would you be so keen to see Isuzu Malaysia giving the Malaysian-spec D-Max the same camping gear and treatment as the Expedition Edition? How much would you pay for such makeover? As always, don’t forget to leave your thoughts in the comments down below…
