ChargeSini Installs Muar’s First DCFC Station - RM1.29/kWh
-full_normal.jpg)
The Royal Town of Muar in Johor has finally received its first DC fast charger (DCFC), thanks to the folks at ChargeSini. This charging station is conveniently located in the Remington Hotel's indoor multi-level parking area, which is shaded from the rain and sun for the convenience of EV users.
The Remington Hotel's new ChargeSini facility is equipped with a dual-gun CCS2 47 kW DC charger that can serve two dedicated EV charging bays (EVCB). It's also worth noting that this facility is set up in accordance with the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (FRDM) guidelines, including the necessary isolation bays.

As usual, these chargers are accessible via the ChargeSini mobile app, which is available on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
As with other ChargeSini charging stations, this one at Remington Hotel would also feature an automated parking barrier system that lowers automatically when a charging session is initiated through the ChargeSini app. According to ChargeSini, these parking barriers are necessary to prevent 'ICEing'.

Customers recharging their EVs at this facility will be levied a kWh-based rate of RM1.29/kWh for sessions exceeding 40 kWh output, and RM1.19/kWh for sessions under 40 kWh. Users are subject to a minimum charging fee of RM5, a 15-minute grace period to relocate their vehicles after completing their charging sessions, and a RM1 idle fee for each 5-minute block thereafter.
