PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) introduced the new MYPLUS-TTA feature via the PLUS application, enabling highway users to schedule their travels for the upcoming Chinese New Year and other festive seasons.

Beyond lowering traffic congestion on the highway through a traffic distribution plan, Public Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi is optimistic that the app, which has a toll fare calculator, can revitalize people's approach to organizing road travel during celebrations.

“MYPLUS-TTA (Travel Time Advisory) is based on the concept of traffic distribution based on travel polarities in previous festive seasons, and it shows the importance of technology integration in the management of national highways,” he told Bernama. 1457800.jpg

Nanta stated that his department would incorporate the MyPLUS-TTA function into the Ministry of Public Works' MyJalan application in the interim (KKR) to enable MyJalan to fulfill its role as a one-stop center and make it easier for people to access and plan their journey more efficiently.

Additionally, PLUS managing director Datuk Nik Airina Nik Jaffar announced that as of right now, users of the PLUS highway can register their trip and select a convenient time to travel during the Chinese New Year holiday, which is observed from February 8–13. She added that PLUS app users who registered their trips through MyPLUS-TTA for the duration would also be eligible to receive shopping gift cards from the ministry.
