ChargeSini sees its network of charging locations grow this week as it announces new AC and DC chargers located in Menara Takaful, Kuala Lumpur.
With this addition, ChargeSini now boasts 638 charging points nationwide (data from AGMO), 118 of which are fast charging DC. ChargeSini continues to hold third place among CPOs deploying EV chargers across the country.

Back to their latest chargers at Menara Takaful, ChargeSini has placed a Sangitech 60 kW DC Fast Charger (DCFC) primed with two (2) CCS2 charging guns that serve two electric vehicle charging bays (EVCB). This DCFC is located at said building’s ground floor near its main entrance.

Next to which, ChargeSini has also placed two (2) 22 kW AC Chargers. These are housed in the building's outdoor parking area and, according to the ChargeSini app, the charging rate on both chargers are based on per-kWh drawn, with the AC units set at RM1.09/kWh whilst the DC charger levies RM1.19/kWh.

As usual, these EV charging bays are outfitted with ChargeSini's automated parking barrier system. Lowering these barriers, which are intended to deter 'ICEing', must be done through the ChargeSini app.

Users are also subjected to an RM5 minimum charging fee and a 15-minute grace period to relocate their vehicles once the charging is complete. Failing the latter would see users charged an RM1 idle fee for each subsequent 5-minute block.
