Main Roads In KL Will Be Closed For OCBC Cycle 2024 On Sunday
A total of 17 main roads in the capital city will be closed for the Kuala Lumpur OCBC Cycle 2024 event on Sunday, 3 March 2024.
According to Malay Mail, Supt Suffian Abdullah, deputy chief of the Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department, said the main roads would be closed in stages from 6.30am to 9am.
"Just like last year, the police will assist in the management of traffic flow," he said on Tuesday, 27 February, when explaining the traffic flow plan for the event.
Suffian stated that preparations are in place to ensure that the closure of the main roads in the heart of the city is carried out smoothly. This year's Kuala Lumpur OCBC Cycle event is expected to attract over 2,700 participants, divided into two categories: 21km and 42km.
The roads that will be involved in the event are Jalan Raja Laut, Jalan Tun Perak, Jalan Lebuh Ampang, Jalan Munshi Abdullah, Jalan Dang Wangi, Jalan Sultan Ismail, Jalan Raja Chulan, Jalan Perak, Jalan P Ramlee, Jalan Ampang, Jalan Kuching, Lebuhraya Sultan Iskandar, Jalan Parlimen, Jalan Sultan Salahuddin and Jalan Kuching
