MeGroup's subsidiary in Malaysia, Menang Nusantara Holdings, has been appointed as an official dealer by MG Malaysia. The firm is set to establish its outlet in Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang and aims to commence operations from Feb 28, 2024 onwards.

This appointment is subjected to a contractual period of 36 months with a possibility of extending for another 24 months. This move also pretty much signifies MeGroup's inaugural venture into the local electric vehicle (EV) auto sales sector.

As reported prior, MG Malaysia, an arm of SAIC Malaysia, is set to distribute the MG brand and its models locally. The brand is set to officially launch itself soon, SAIC Malaysia have been actively appointing dealers nationwide ahead of which.

MeGroup’s upcoming MG sales and service centre will be housed in a two-storey 3S facility at Setia Alam.

MeGroup's dealership portfolio currently consists of seven brands; Proton, Ford, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, and Peugeot. In total, the firm operates 11 outlets.

"The selection of MeGroup as the MG 3S Dealership signifies a significant milestone for our business expansion and reflects MG's confidence in our established track record. We are committed to enhancing value for our customers through this appointment," expressed Wong Cheong Chee, the MeGroup’s Executive Chairman and CEO.
