Stellantis Employees Rewarded €1.9 Billion Worldwide For 2023 Sales Record

stellantis-news-full_normal.jpg In an effort to honor the dedication and hard work of its workers everywhere, Stellantis recently announced that it will distribute almost €1.9 billion this year, based on the company's 2023 financial results and accomplishments at both the local and global levels. In the three years since its founding, Stellantis has given its global workforce distributions totaling €6 billion.
For the record, Stellantis formed when Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and PSA Peugeot Citroën finally merged in early 2021. However, the car company's "pay for performance" program allowed it to share its good fortune with its staff even before the deal was finalized. Stelantis-Caricarz-(1)-full_normal.jpg

It's not all good news, though. According to reports, Stellantis is attempting to reduce staff in order to save costs and maintain its competitiveness during the industry's drawn-out and expensive shift to electric vehicles. It provides buyouts to groups of hourly workers in Canada and white-collar and unionized workers in the United States.

In addition, the auto giant revealed that it will introduce its first electric vehicle (EV) to Malaysia by 2024 and that it will be launching other brands that will significantly alter the country's automotive market.

The company is testing models from other brands, including Opel, Alfa Romeo, and DS, in addition to Peugeot and Citroen vehicles, opening the door for a wider product range in the nation.
