smart Malaysia (PRO-NET) has commenced deliveries for the entry-level smart #1 Pro.
Months after making its official landfall in Malaysia, smart Malaysia (PRO-NET) has finally commenced the delivery of the smart #1 Pro model. Starting today onwards, customers who place a booking on this entry-level EV crossover will receive their #1 Pro models, respectively.
A quick tour of the entry-level smart #1 Pro, this EV crossover is powered by the same rear-mounted (RWD) electric motor setup as the middling #1 Premium, delivering 268 HP (200 kW) and 343 NM to allow a decent 0-100 KM/H despatch of 6.7 seconds. Unlike the Premium variant, however, the #1 Pro gets a smaller 49-kWh LFP-type battery, which in turn grants it a maximum WLTP range of 315 KM.

The smart #1 Pro supports both the DC 130 kW and AC 7.2 kW charging methods.
Underpinning the same Geely SEA2 400-volt architecture as other #1 variants, the #1 Pro supports DCFC at 130 kW, while its AC charging figure is capped at only 7.2 kW. Thanks to its small battery capacity, the former method allows a full charge to complete in less than 30 minutes, while the slower AC charging sees a 10% to 80% charge take about six hours to complete.

Aside from the different wheel design, the #1 Pro looks almost identical to the #1 Premium variant.
On the cosmetics side, the #1 Pro still comes with decent styling equipment, despite being touted as the entry-level model for the marque’s lineup. Besides the smaller 19-inch ‘Amps’ alloy wheels it rides on, the #1 Pro looks painstakingly similar to its upmarket Premium sibling, including the five exterior colour options it comes with: Future Green, Quantum Blue, Digital White, Cyber Silver, and Laser Red.

Although missing some additional bits, the #1 Pro's cabin still comes with decent standard equipment.
On-board cabin equipment is also quite decent for the baseline #1 Pro. Besides key omissions like the 13-speaker Beats sound system, ventilated seats, and the head-up display, the #1 Pro still gets the same basic equipment as the Premium model. Key highlights include its massive 12.8-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 9.2-inch digital instrument cluster, 10-way power adjustable front seats, a wireless charging pad, as well as the extended Panoramic Halo Roof with powered sun blind.
More importantly, said infotainment system also supports smart’s proprietary EV charging map and the Hello smart mobile app integration. These two features grant access to over 70% of Malaysia’s current EV charging stations, where #1 Pro owners can seamlessly locate, initiate charging, and make payments for their charging needs all within a single mobile app.

With its first deliveries set to kick off from today onwards, those who are keen to own the entry-level smart #1 Pro can still place a booking for them at any authorised smart Malaysia dealers or via the Hello smart app, at an attractive price of RM189,000 on the road. For reference, the middling #1 Premium model is tagged higher at RM219,000, while the top-spec #1 Brabus commands the highest asking price of RM249,000.
On top of that, smart Malaysia also announced the introduction of the all-inclusive Premium Ownership package. First-time offered to all #1 variants, this package is inclusive of offerings such as:
- 8-Year or 200,000km High-Voltage Battery Warranty
- 8-Year or 150,000km High-Voltage Component Warranty
