smart Malaysia Celebrates 2nd Anniversary with smart Owners Club Malaysia

smart Malaysia celebrates its second anniversary together with smart Owners Club Malaysia.
Proton New Energy Technology (PRO-NET), the official distributor of smart vehicles in Malaysia, celebrated the second anniversary of the smart brand here in Malaysia together with the smart Owners Club Malaysia. This celebration gathered over 38 smart owners for a special anniversary outing, featuring 19 smart #1, 14 smart #3, and five smart #5 EVs.

The event kicked off from the smart Glenmarie dealership in Shah Alam to the Beacon Resort in Kerling, Selangor, where smart owners were treated with a slew of lifestyle activities that go beyond driving. More importantly, this gathering also offered a chance for them to connect, share experiences, and celebrate their passion for smart EVs.

Since launching in Malaysia back in 2023, smart Malaysia has grown beyond just a car brand, becoming a community for like-minded EV enthusiasts who value sustainability, style, and innovation. Today, smart Malaysia features a diverse range of EVs, starting with the #1 compact crossover, followed by the #3 sporty coupe crossover and the #5 SUV.
Commenting on this momentous anniversary celebration, smart Malaysia (PRO-NET) chief information officer Sua Chek Hoong said, “The past two years have been an exciting journey for smart in Malaysia. This drive is a celebration of our owners, their enthusiasm, and the camaraderie we’ve built together, proving that smart is just more than a car.”

On a broader scale, the 2nd anniversary for the smart brand in Malaysia is a testament to the brand’s commitment to nurturing and engaging a smart-minded community, continuing a relationship that started the moment customers walked into the showroom for the first time. Looking forward, the automaker aims to continue expanding its EV lineup while at the same time further strengthening its owner network and providing a compact, stylish, and enjoyable electric mobility experience.
