Continental MaxContact MC7 High Performance Tyres Revealed
The all-new Continental MaxContact MC7 is a high-performance tyre developed specifically for the APAC market.
Continental Tyres has announced the arrival of the new Continental MaxContact MC7 tyres today. Developed specifically for the Asian Pacific (APAC) markets, this new high-performance tyre boasts a perfect balance of daily usability and sheer driving performance.
For starters, the MC7 provides more refined handling and exceptional stability for drivers when making sharp turns, even at a higher speed and around corners, due to the optimisation of pressure distribution within the tyre. The MC7 achieves this by maximising the contact area with the road to create a wider footprint with the cornering macroblocks, thus redistributing force for a more controlled and stable drive.
To help provide drivers with a more stable and safer drive in wet conditions, the MC7 features 3D laser-cut sipes that help improve the car’s grip and braking on wet surfaces, reducing the risk of aquaplaning by quickly expelling water that flows through the tyre grooves.
On top of that, the MC7’s ReFlex silica compound also enhances the kinetic energy transfer for better stopping power while at the same time offering high resistance against tyre deformation that not only helps your tyres last longer but also improves steering response and accuracy.
Just like other Continental tyre models, the new MC7 is also well-known for providing excessive tyre roars, especially when driving at faster speeds. Thanks to its 2-in-1 Noise Breaker 3.0 technology, the MC7 is able to provide a quieter and more comfortable ride, which is quite rare in most high-performance tyres.
“The MaxContact MC7 is the latest addition to Continental’s line-up of Gen7 products, which represent the latest generation of our tyre technologies developed specifically for APAC drivers. We are confident that it showcases our advanced R&D capabilities to deliver best-in-class performance for remarkable driving experiences in the everyday,” said Tolga Mutlu, Head of Product Management for Continental Replacement Tyres APAC.
The all-new Continental MaxContact MC7 tyres are now available for purchase in selected APAC markets, including Malaysia, from Q1 2024 onwards, with sizes ranging from 16 to 21 inches. For more information on the prices and availability, you can visit any authorised Continental Tyre outlets in Malaysia or visit their official website.
