Ultra-Luxurious Zeekr 009 Grand Teased Ahead of Auto China 2024 Debut

Recently teased, the Zeekr 009 Grand (or Zeekr 009 'Glory Edition') has received an injection of ultra-luxe.
The Zeekr 009 luxury EV MPV just got an injection to elevate it into ‘ultra-luxe’ status. Pictured is the Zeekr 009 Grand (also called the Zeekr 009 ‘Glory Edition’ according to CarNewsChina) that’s set to be shown publicly at the upcoming Auto China 2024 show in Beijing later this month.
From its initial announcement, the Geely-owned brand didn’t disclose much details other than plans to officially launch this ultra-luxe MPV in China first on April 19. Aptly, even from this limited series of images released, there’s much to denote about this arguably posher cousin to the Volvo EM90.

Little has changed with the exterior except for subtle new chrome trims and distinct 20-inch 'forged disc' wheels featuring black centre caps and laser-etching.
The exterior has been lightly revised with subtle new chrome trims added, along with distinct ‘forged disc’ wheels that each measure at 20-inches. The latter is also furnished with black centre caps, along with what Zeekr describes as “enchanting laser-etched finish.”
Obviously, changes in the cabin speaks in greater volume compared to the exterior tweaks. In ‘Grand’ (or ‘Glory Edition’) form pictured, the three-row seating layout is ditched altogether for a two-row setup instead, with the second-row primed with a pair of ottoman-style seats.

The real change lies behind the 009 Grand's dual sliding doors. It sees the cabin ditching three-rows of seats for just two, and its second-row primed with a pair of ottoman-style seats.

Said seats are matched with a rather massive entertainment display, though Zeekr did not disclose the size for which.
Unlike your usual ‘captain seats’, the latter feature power leg rests, fancier headrests, as well as integrated speakers. These are divided by a unique centre console housing storage drawers, fold-down tables, as well as an integrated display to control the seats, climate control, and entertainment.
Speaking of entertainment, the cabin is primed with a massive display screen, though Zeekr did not disclose its size just yet. Other key luxuries primed too include a panoramic glass roof, as well as elegant wood inlay trims featuring distinct dot-like accents.

Other luxuries primed include a panoramic glass roof, as well as wood inlay trims with dot-pattern accents.
Details are sparse, but similarities with the standard Zeekr 009 are expected. The latter is juiced by a respectably large 140 kWh battery that promises up to 822 KM range based on CLTC test cycles. As for output, up to 536 HP is possible, which in turn enables 0-100 KM/H in just 4.5 seconds.
Lastly, Zeekr also teased a rather ‘premium’ price tag for this ‘Grand’ version of its 009 through an online post saying “What would it be like to have two seats worth 500,000 yuan in a car?” And before you ask, that roughly translates to RM330,105 by current conversion rates.
