Jaguar F-Pace Bowing Out With Two Special Editions

JLR is set to discontinue the Jaguar F-Pace crossover, but not before treating in 90th Anniversary (left) and SVR 575 Edition (right).
Many car manufacturers are preparing their model line-ups for the switch to their EV versions, and it sees a number of which having their combustion-powered versions bowing out soon. The latest for which announced recently is the Jaguar F-Pace.
In combustion form at least, the F-Pace crossover reaches the end of the line after a 10-year run, and parent Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is set to retire it next year. Before that though, the Tata-owned automaker will send it off with two special editions - a 90th Anniversary plus a SVR 575 Edition.

The 90th Anniversary edition gets R-Dynamic styling, diamod-turned alloy wheels, and more.
In conjunction with the 90th anniversary of Jaguar, the aptly-named special version of the F-Pace gets treated with R-Dynamic styling, diamond-turned alloy wheels, and a panoramic glass roof. The upscale interior includes sports seats, contrast stitching, aluminum trim, and an ebony headliner.
The F-Pace 90th Anniversary Edition is available in various trimlines, and JLR will offer it with both four- and six-cylinder powertrain choices - diesels and petrol-electric plug-in hybrid (PHEV) included, the latter offering up to 64 KM of electric range.

The SVR 575 Edition packs Jaguar's signature 5.0-litre supercharged V8 heart, which is rated at a meaty 575 HP and 700 NM.
Next to this anniversary special comes the F-Pace SVR 575 Edition, which is a sportier send-off. This special packs Jaguar’s signature 5.0-litre supercharged V8 powerplant, which delivers a meaty 567 HP and 700 NM, altogether enabling 0-60 MPH (96 KM/H) in a zippy 3.8 seconds.
As for styling, the SVR 575 Edition’s go-fast performance is matched with sporty black exterior accents, 22-inch forged alloy wheels, aluminum trim, Windsor leather and sport seats with both heating and ventilation functions lined in Suedecloth.
Though the F-Pace will be axed by the end of this year, it will be long-remembered as Jaguar's first attempt at, and subsequent entry into, the lucrative luxury crossover SUV genre, which saw it chart decent successes too. KR
