Proton Introduces 5-Star After-Sales Rating Initiative

To elevate its after-sales services, Proton has introduced the 5-Star Rating initiative to all its outlets nationwide.
National automaker Proton has announced the commencement of the 5-Star Rating initiative as part of its plan to further elevate the after-sales service for its customers. Set to take place at all authorised Proton outlets, this new rating initiative is an extension of the company’s Proton Operational Excellence (POE) initiative that was started back in March last year.

This new rating initiative will be awarded to dealers based on their POE score and service quality, in a bid to further encourage Proton dealers and service providers to achieve and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and service. The service quality aspect will be evaluated into two main categories, namely Speed and Compliance, with both of them measured over six focus areas.

Each outlet will be assessed on a monthly basis, and the results gathered will be shared with all other dealers to give a clear indication of their current performance and standpoint. To achieve this goal, Proton’s After Sales division will work closely with all the outlets to proactively raise their service levels and scores, while a quarterly roadshow will be conducted to give recognition to all top achievers.
Ultimately, Proton hopes this new initiative will help to enhance the business performance of all of its outlets, while at the same time improving the efficiency of its service centres nationwide.

Proton Melinau Auto in Kuching, Sarawak is among the first outlets to be awarded with the 5-Star rating for its after-sales services.
With the commencement of this new 5-Star Rating initiative, Proton will award five selected dealerships monthly for the top performance accolade. Among the first three outlets being awarded by Proton under this new initiative is the Proton Melinau Auto outlet in Kuching, Sarawak, which also witnessed the commencement of this 5-Star rating initiative by the national automaker.

Proton Edar Chief Executive Officer Roslan Abdullah
Commenting on this new initiative, Proton Edar CEO Roslan Abdullah said, “At Proton, we believe that delivering a high level of after-sales service to our customers helps to set us apart from rival brands. Therefore, we will continue to invest in our customer service and after-sales operations at all outlets to ensure all customer-facing roles deliver the highest levels of satisfaction.
“Yes, we also believe that offering a range of premium, high-spec models at competitive prices helps to attract customers to showrooms, but delivering exemplary customer service and providing class-leading after-sales service keeps them loyal to the brand and opens the door to repeat purchases,” Roslan added.
Following the launch of this 5-Star Rating initiative, Proton customers and members of the public can check the list of Proton outlets to obtain these accolades via Proton’s official corporate website.
