Grand Saga Highway Announces Improved New Morning Tidal Flow
Batu 11 Toll Plaza of the Cheras-Kajang Grand Saga Highway. The highway concessionaires will be implementing a new morning tidal flow scheme starting next week on June 18.
Residents and commuters who frequent the Cheras-Kajang Grand Saga Highway, take note. Said highway operators announced earlier today via its official Facebook page that it will implement a new and improved morning tidal flow system.
This effort, according to said highway concessionaires, is aimed at enhancing the efficiency of peak hour traffic flow. This new morning tidal flow scheme will be applied starting Tuesday next week (June 18), and will be applied Mondays through Fridays from 6:30AM to 8:30AM.
As detailed in the map provided, the morning KL-bound tidal flow has been enhanced with a new Entry Point 1 at KM 14.9, which is just after the Batu 11 Toll Plaza.
The new system sees the old tidal flow entry point at KM 13.1 closed and replaced with new Entry Point 1 at KM 14.9, and Entry Point 2 at KM 12.3.
Effectively, Entry Point 1 now grants much earlier access to the tidal flow for motorists and commuters coming from Kajang. Prior to this, motorists must traverse all the way to KM 13.1, or just after the NSK hypermarket, which is where the current tidal flow entry point sits.
Said original KL-bound tidal flow entry point at KM 13.1 will now be closed and replaced with a new Entry Point 2 located at KM 12.3 where the Kajang-bound Batul 9 Toll Plaza sits.
Effectively, Entry Point 2 serves to continue granting tidal flow access to motorists coming out of Exit 704 (Bandar Tun Hussein Onn/Taman Cheras Perdana), Exit 703 (Telekom Intersection), and Exit 702 (Hulu Langat Intersection).
As for motorist and commuters from Kajang wishing to access Exit 703 and Exit 702, or the SUKE Highway (E19) on-ramps before and after the PDRM Academy, Grand Saga Highway operators advise to remain on the main pathway instead of the morning tidal flow lane.
Motorists and commuters seeking more details about this new morning tidal flow scheme can get in touch with Grand Saga Highway operators via its official Facebook and X (Twitter) pages online, or by calling its hotline at 03-9075 0505.
