This Arctic Trucks Defender Is Perfect To Tow Your RWB Porsche Build

No, those flared wheel arches aren't just for show in this made-to-order Land Rover Defender 110 AT35 by Arctic Trucks.
Aptly, pictured here is not your ordinary Land Rover Defender. More specifically, it’s called the Land Rover Defender 110 AT35, and it’s the brainchild of renowned Iceland-rooted 4x4 specialists Arctic Trucks.
Notably, the Land Rover 110 AT35 build wasn’t born overnight. In fact, it’s the result of testing and development done by Arctic Trucks lasting about five years. Aptly, the ‘AT35’ naming was inspired by the size of the tyres the firm fitted.

No exact measurement of the widening was stated, but they're wide enough to properly house massive 35-inch BFGoodrich off road tyres at each corner!
At first glance, it’s easy to see how Arctic Trucks’ wide-bodied treatment of the Defender mirrors the works of a certain chain-smoking, one-man Japanese Porsche tuner – or ‘butcher’, depending on how you see it – renowned for his penchant for wide-bodies too.
Aptly, in this build, the widening through the overly flared wheel arches aren’t just for show. These were primed so that Arctic Trucks could properly fit a set of massive 35-inch BFGoodrich off-road tyres – either the KO2 All-Terrain or KM3 Mud-Terrains – at each corner.
Said tyres are also fitted onto equally massive 20-inch Arctic Trucks forged alloy wheels finished in matte black. Though chunky, Artic Trucks says they still offer “surprisingly positive and fluid” compliance, roadholding and steering feel on the asphalt.

Said 35-inch tyres are fitted on to 20-inch forged wheels. As for suspension, Artic Trucks will either fit a modified version of the Land Rover L663 air suspension hardware, or new 10-position adjustable high performance Bilstein set instead.
We reckon much of the latter also stems from the Defender 110 AT35’s tweaked chassis. This saw Arctic Trucks fitting either a modified version of the Land Rover L663 air suspension suite, or trick 10-position adjustable high performance Bilstein suspension set that also raises height by 5 MM.
Arctic Trucks doesn’t get into detail about works under the hood, though we reckon the firm doesn’t do much here. As a refresher, the Land Rover Defender 110 can be primed with a series of powertrain ranging from turbo petrols and diesels to plug-in hybrids and V8s.
According to Arctic Trucks, this conversion takes roughly two to three weeks to complete, which also reportedly include priming other bits like larger mud flaps, extended side steps and all the extra badges this made-to-order special warrants.

The interior remains unchanged, though Arctic Trucks does offer premium additions such as mats.

Arctic Trucks notes that the conversion takes 2-3 weeks to complete.
Other premium options available through which also includes ‘premium interior mats’, leather interior upgrades, as well as lightbars and such. Surely, there’s just a little more here compared to the extensive options already available through the standard Defender’s options list.
Like the SUV that serves as the basis of this build, this conversion package is not cheap. Arctic Trucks has set a starting price of £29,995 for this conversion package, which roughly equates to RM179,190.
Mind you, that’s the extra on top of the Defender 110 base car’s price, which start at RM798,800 when local distributors JLR Malaysia (Sime Darby Auto Connexion) launched it back in Oct 2021.
