BMW Group Malaysia is pleased to announce the graduation of the first group of five trainees from the BMW Technical Trainee Programme (BTTP), in association with TOC Automotive College.
The BTTP syllabus is crafted by The German Chamber of Commerce and the BMW Group have set strict worldwide standards, which this demanding 3.5-year curriculum is carefully intended to achieve.

The BTTP combines in-depth classroom education with specialised BMW training to give students state-of-the-art technical knowledge and unique diagnostic abilities. One of the program's main features is a 12-month apprenticeship that gives students practical training in actual automotive environments.
Upon completion, BTTP graduates will receive a Diploma in Automotive Technology from TOC Automotive College, accredited by both the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

In addition, they will also be awarded a certificate from BMW Group Malaysia, providing dual certification that positions them as highly skilled professionals ready to thrive in the automotive industry.
"At BMW Group, we believe that delivering a premium ownership experience begins with investing in top-tier talent," said Benjamin Nagel, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia. “Our collaboration with TOC Automotive College is essential to developing the next wave of automotive technology leaders.”

He continued by saying, "BMW Group Malaysia is incredibly proud of our first five BTTP graduates, who have not only fulfilled BMW's high standards but are also equipped to succeed in the ever-changing automotive industry."
The cooperation between TOC Automotive College and BMW Group Malaysia is not limited to the BTTP. It encompasses prior efforts such as donating engines to the college for R&D and placing TOC alumni as interns and apprentices in BMW Group Malaysia's dealership network.
