Launched: 2024 BMW X4 xDrive30i M Sport Pro CKD – RM399,800

BMW Group Malaysia welcomes the updated 2024 BMW X4 xDrive30i M Sport Pro CKD today, priced at RM399,800.

While we’ve previously reported that the G02-gen BMW X4 might be heading to the guillotine next year, it appears this sporty coupe SUV might survive for another year or two in our market. Launched by BMW Group Malaysia today is the new 2024 BMW X4 xDrive30i M Sport Pro, which replaces the previous non-M Sport Pro model.

Just like the model it replaces, the new X4 xDrive30i M Sport Pro is also being assembled locally (CKD) at BMW’s Kulim production facility. Thanks to its M Sport Pro moniker, the new X4 now gains some minor design changes, including the presence of both the M Lights Shadowline and the M high-gloss Shadowline.

Both packages replace the chrome parts with a slew of dark and gloss black-hued accents on the new X4, including on its front kidney grille, the tailpipes, and many more. Besides the dark accents, the X4 xDrive30i M Sport Pro also rides on new 21-inch BMW Individual V-Spoke Style 726 wheels, with High Gloss Red-hued M Sports Brakes hiding beneath them.

As for the colour options, the new X4 xDrive30i M Sport Pro is available in Alpine White, Black Sapphire, and M Brooklyn Grey for the exterior, plus two interior upholstery options, namely the ‘Vernasca’ Tacora Red Décor Stitching and Leather ‘Vernasca’ Black Décor Stitching.

This minor update also sees the new X4 coming standard with Active Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop & Go Function on top of its existing driving assistant systems. Aside from the two upholstery options and the new ADAS function, the new X4 also features telephony with wireless charging, while the rest of the cabin amenities remain the same as prior.

Also unchanged is the powertrain setup used on this new X4. For the xDrive30i model, the X4 is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cyl turbocharged petrol mill that is mated to an 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic gearbox to deliver 248 HP and 350 NM. This helps the X4 to accelerate from 0-100 KM/H in 6.3 seconds, while its V-Max is capped at 240 KM/H.

Now available for booking, the all-new 2024 BMW X4 xDrive30i M Sport Pro CKD is priced at RM399,800 on-the-road, sans insurance. Included with said price is the standard 2-year vehicle warranty. Those who seek a longer and more comprehensive warranty can opt for the BMW Service & Repair Inclusive package (worth RM26,700), which consists of a 5-year Extended Warranty and Service.
