PayNet, ALR Allow Highway Users To Support The Needy Through New Initiative
Amanat Lebuhraya Rakyat (ALR), in collaboration with Payments Network Malaysia (PayNet), has launched Sentuhan Ikhlas, a corporate social responsibility programme that allows each toll payment transaction to help support Malaysia's B40 demographic families.
The Sentuhan Ikhlas campaign aims to provide to those in need with toll money collected from drivers on four highways: the Shah Alam Expressway (Kesas), Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP), Stormwater Management and Road Tunnel (Smart), and Sprint Highway.
Motorists can make contributions at any of Amanat Lebuhraya Rakyat's 152 MyDebit-enabled toll lanes on the four highways.

According to Sazally Saidi, CEO of ALR Group, the campaign aims to raise RM500,000 for the MyKasih Foundation, which will help 1,000 B40 families purchase food and household essentials with their MyKad.
The initiative directs PayNet contributions to the MyKasih Foundation for each toll payment made with MyDebit, with funds released in stages as transaction milestones are met.
“Once five million MyDebit transactions are recorded over the next two months, the campaign will unlock a total of RM500,000, with RM100,000 released after one million transactions, RM150,000 at 2.5 million and RM250,000 when the five million mark is hit.
“By participating in the Sentuhan Ikhlas campaign, motorists not only support a noble cause but also benefit from the convenience and safety of making payments using MyDebit on these highways.
“We hope that the MyDebit system will continue to enhance convenience for motorists while enabling them to contribute to a meaningful cause,” he said at the campaign’s launch at the Puchong Selatan Toll Plaza on LDP here.
The MyKasih Foundation was founded in 2009 by Tan Sri Dr. Ngau Boon Keat and his spouse Puan Sri Jean with the goal of providing food assistance and educational opportunities to underprivileged Malaysians.
