The second edition of the Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur is slated to take place from Nov 8 to 10 at MITEC KL.

Following the success of its inaugural show last year, Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur (TASKL) is coming back for the second time around, set to take place at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur, from Nov 8 to 10, 2024.

For the second edition, the TASKL 2024 will be bigger and better, with the main event being the showcase of over 300 top-tier tuned cars for its main showcase, 15 of which are specially brought in from Japan. On top of that, legendary Japanese tuner Smoky Nagata from Top Secret will also return for the second edition, alongside other renowned tuning houses such as Veilside, Trust/Greddy, Option, Tomica, San Ei Corporation, and many more.

Besides the main vehicle showcase, 2024 TAS Kuala Lumpur will also feature a bigger range of official merchandise, including T-shirts with graphics of some of the most iconic JDM models and some accessories, all of which can be purchased with a 5% discount via TASKL’s official website.

Not to forget, the 2024 edition also sees the release of a limited-edition Chameleon Nissan GT-R R33 (NISMO 400R) 1/64 diecast model, which can also be pre-purchased online together with the show entry ticket. Alternatively, visitors can also try their luck and secure this limited-edition diecast at the show itself.

One lucky visitor to TASKL 2024 will bring home an unregistered and tuned-up Honda Civic FK8R Type R Mugen.

Beyond the official merchandise and limited-edition diecast, visitors to the show will also stand a chance to bring home an unregistered and tuned-up Honda Civic FK8R Type R Mugen, which is the grand prize for this year’s lucky draw. This offer is open to all ticket holders, but they must top up an extra RM28 on their respective ticket price. The winner of this sole grand prize will be announced on the last day of the show (Nov 10).

In addition to the Honda Civic FK8R Type R Mugen, exhibitor YRN Customs has also announced a giveaway of a modified BMW E36 325i four-door sedan. The contest is open to all visitors who spend a minimum of RM15 at the show, and the winner will also be announced on Nov 10 at Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur.
