E-Mobility Asia 2024 – Nov 12 to 14, KL Convention Centre

The second E-Mobility Asia 2024 showcase kicks off from Nov 12 to 14 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
The E-Mobility Asia (EMA) showcase has opened its doors today, showcasing more electromobility and sustainable solutions. The second edition takes place this week from Nov 12 (Tuesday) to 14 (Thursday) at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

Deputy MITI Minister YB Liew Chin Tong officiated the EMA 2024 today alongside MARii CEO Azrul Reza Aziz, MIDA CEO Datuk Sikh Samsul Ibrahim, and EVAM President Dato' Dennis Chuah.
Officiated by the deputy Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry (MITI) YB Liew Chin Tong, the E-Mobility Asia 2024 showcase provides a wealth of business opportunities for entrepreneurs, SMEs, and well-established e-mobility companies to enhance their brands and expand their business networks. Just like its inaugural edition, the EMA 2024 will also be held concurrently with Sustainability Environment Asia (SEA) 2024, bringing together 100 international exhibitors from over 6 countries and regions.
Apart from EMA 2024, YB Liew also launched the Global Automotive & Technology Expo (GATE) 2025, which will be organised by the Malaysia Automotive Robotics & IoT Institute (MARii), where it will incorporate EMA, EV production, and after-sales segments.

Among the electric vehicle (EV) marques joining the showcase this year are Chery, GWM, and BYD, while Malaysian-owned EV brand Eclimo is slated to unveil its new lineup of e-bikes at the show.

Besides the new and upcoming EVs, the EMA 2024 will also showcase a broad array of e-mobility technologies that are changing mobility and what’s next in transport to shape a green future. Among the key exhibitions featured at this year’s EMA show are the MARii Pavilion, which features Blueshark, Lytron, SHJ Auto, and SHJ Intertia, as well as the Malaysia EV Showcase, which includes Eclimo and many more.

Other exhibitors include Amphenol Communications Solutions, Nichom Go, Grasen, PyroX, Hioki Singapore Pte. Ltd., YBS International Berhad, Sendok Group, JuiceUp EV, Success Materials Handling (M) Sdn. Bhd., and so on.
Besides the exhibitions, the EMA 2024 showcase will also feature the EV Conference 2024, which is co-hosted by MARii and the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), with the Electric Vehicle Association of Malaysia (EVAM) acting as co-organiser.
Happening on Nov 12 and 13, the two-day conference will cover key topics such as accelerating EV adoption, evolving charging infrastructure, future trends in electric vehicles, battery management, and workforce development. The conference will feature over 60 speakers from the coalition of the Asian Federation of Electric Vehicle Associations and the EV associations of Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand.

Commenting on the EMA 2024 launch today, EVAM president Dato’ Dennis Chuah said, “Since the inaugural EMA last year, the industry has witnessed a more positive impact, which, I am confident, will bring even more momentum into 2025 and the years ahead. From growing the adoption of EV vehicles and charging infrastructure, the narrative has expanded to securing component supplies, service centers, and upgrading technical knowledge.”
