GWM Haval H6 HEV Charts Over 1,500 Bookings In Its First Month

Launched in early Oct, the GWM Haval H6 HEV has garnered over 1,500 bookings in less than a month.
Great Wall Motor (GWM) Malaysia revealed earlier today that its very latest offering, the GWM Haval H6 HEV crossover, has received over 1,500 bookings placed by Malaysians buyers in less than a month since it was officially launched.
Bookings aside, GWM Malaysia also revealed that it has successfully delivered the first 200 locally assembled (CKD) units of the Haval H6 HEV models to customers. As a refresher, the hybrid-powered C-segment crossover SUV was launched back in early Oct with just one variant priced at RM139,800.

Positioned as a C-segment SUV offering, the Haval H6 HEV boasts a unique hybrid powertrain with segment-leading outputs and efficiency to boot.
Setting it apart from segment contemporaries is the model’s unique hybrid powertrain that features a 1.5-litre 4-cyl turbo petrol mill at its base, 2-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), and compact 1.6 kWh battery pack. Altogether the package puts out segment-leading outputs – 243 PS and 530 NM – and efficiency - 5.8 litres/100 KM – figures too.
GWM Malaysia adds that these initial sales figures is not only proves that there is strong demand for the marque in the Malaysian market, it also reflects the firm’s commitment at expanding its presence locally by offering it with a range of high quality vehicles at affordable prices too.

Strong initial bookings aside, GWM Malaysia also revealed that it has delivered the first 200 units of the locally built (CKD) Haval H6 HEV model to customers thus far.
Critically, the Haval H6 HEV’s initial sales pace mentioned stems as a result borne from GWM’s ‘long-termism’ global business strategy that’s based on four key pillars - 'Locally Built’, ‘Locally Operated’, ‘Locally Cultivated ’ and ‘Supply Chain Integrated’.
Also driving the model’s popularity is its comprehensive after-sales package. At launch, GWM Malaysia is offering Haval H6 HEV buyers with a 5-year free maintenance (parts and labour included) package, as well as both a 10-year or 1 Million KM engine warranty and 8-year or 1 Million KM Hybrid (HEV) system warranty for first-hand owners.
