PDRM Offering Five-Day 50% Summons Discount From Nov 5-9
Calling all summons recipients! It's that time of year again to take full advantage of PDRM's discount offers and finally pay off all those outstanding fines that have been pending for months.
From today, November 5, through November 9, 2024, the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) will be running a five-day campaign with discounts of up to 50% on Summonses.
The Kuala Lumpur traffic investigation and enforcement department (JSPT KL) has announced on PDRM's Facebook page that drivers who have unpaid summonses can do so at the Tun H.S. Lee police station between 8.30am and 4pm every day during the campaign.
However, please be aware that the following traffic offenses are not eligible for the discount: summonses involving traffic lights, emergency lanes, double line overtaking, dangerous overtaking/queue cutting, accidents, non-compound, court cases, exhaust modification, and heavy vehicles/lorries are not eligible for any kind of discount.
To prevent any inconvenience, make sure your summonses don't fit into any of the following categories before going to settle them. But just make sure to settle them anyhow if they do!
