2023 Fuel Price Updates – January 19-25: No Changes, RON97 Remains at RM3.35

The Ministry of Finance has announced that the retail price of all fuels in Malaysia for the third week of January 2023 remains unchanged from the previous week. These prices will last from Jan 19 to 25, 2023.

The RON97 petrol will retain its RM3.35 per litre price just like last week. RON95, on the other hand, continues to retail at its ceiling price of RM2.05 per litre.

Moving onto diesel, both the Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends continue to retail at RM2.15 per litre, whereas the Euro 5 B7 resumes with the same RM2.35 per litre price tag as well.

As per, this price update will take effect from midnight (12AM) tonight until the next price announcement from the Ministry on Wednesday next week (Jan 25, 2023). This is the third edition of the weekly fuel pricing format for this year, making the 210th since this weekly ‘Automatic Pricing Mechanism’ format was introduced and enforced at the start of 2019.
