Subaru STI S210 - 500 Units, First Automatic S-Chassis

The Subaru WRX STI S210 marks the return of the highly anticipated S-Chassis performance model from Subaru Tecnica International (STI).
Based on the WRX S4 STI Sport R EX, the S210 is a direct offshoot of STI’s race car engineered for the world’s toughest tracks and incorporated based on insights from the Nürburgring 24-Hour Race.

Unveiled at the recent Tokyo Auto Salon 2025, the WRX STI S210 promises exceptional handling and performance.
Firstly, FA24 2.4-liter turbocharged ‘boxer’ flat 4-cyl has been enhanced with new air intake and exhaust, boosting outputs to 300 HP and 375 NM. Subaru adds that the S210's linear torque response ensures smooth acceleration and precise control.

Introduced here too is the Subaru Performance Transmission, an 8-speed automatic unit with paddle shifters. This makes this special the first S-chassis offering from Subaru primed with an automatic box.
The suspension, on the other hand, is meticulously tuned, and it’s matched with a set of 19-inch BBS StI Flexible Performance Wheels wrapped in 255 profile Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres. Brakes come courtesy of beefy Brembo 6-pot front calipers and drilled rotors.

Other performance hardware added include STI Flexible parts like the Flexible tower bar, draw stiffener and support sub frame taken from their Nürburgring race car. These bring optimised stability and enhanced cornering abilities.

Aesthetically, the S210 blends aggressive styling with functionality. Key additions include the STI Dry Carbon Rear Spoiler and other aerodynamic elements reduce drag and improve handling. The exterior is finished with crystal black silica and red accents, offering a race-ready look.

Inside, the S210 features Recaro 8-way Nappa leather power adjustable carbon-back front seats, premium black-and-red trim, and luxurious details.
The S210, which is limited to just 500 units, and details surrounding its sale will be released in the second quarter (Q2) of this year.
