Loke: Industry 4.0 Propels Malaysia’s Smart Logistics Sector

“The logistics sector has an opportunity to thrive by leveraging government incentives like income tax exemptions for smart logistics complexes encouraging adoption of Industry 4.0 technology,” remarked Transport Minister Anthony Loke.
He said this during the launch of Ninja Van Malaysia’s new temperature-controlled solution, Ninja Cold, earlier today. He went on to explain that these measures are intended to promote smarter, more efficient warehousing and logistics operations.

Loke further highlighted that through automation, data analytics, and IoT technologies, supply chain performance can be optimized. This not only boosts efficiency but also helps position Malaysia as a regional leader in smart logistics.
He also addressed the evolving challenges faced by the logistics sector, especially in areas like pharmaceuticals, food safety, and sustainability. To remain competitive, the sector must continue to adapt and innovate.
Loke sees tremendous opportunities ahead, driven by increased digitalisation and green technology adoption - a new era for logistics.

He further noted that services like Ninja Cold meet current needs while paving the way for future innovations. This will help Malaysia maintain its competitive edge on the global stage through adoption of new technologies benefiting SMEs as it will enable them to offer products across borders.
The launch of Ninja Cold expands Ninja Van Malaysia’s reach beyond e-commerce into B2B cold chain operations. This is thanks to its temperature-controlled solutions integrated into its logistics ecosystem - covering warehousing, last-mile delivery, and real-time transparency.
With this the company aims to provide seamless, end-to-end service helping businesses grow by ensuring product quality at every stage of the supply chain.
