Barely two years after Tesla established its official presence in Malaysia, the country has been given the honour of hosting the Asian Tesla community for the region’s first Tesla Takeover Asia 2025 event.
Set to take place on Feb 22 and 23 at Gamuda Cove, this event will bring together Tesla owners, enthusiasts, and sustainability advocates from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and beyond.

The Tesla Takeover event, originally launched in 2021 by Tesla Owners of Silicon Valley, has evolved into a highly anticipated annual gathering in North America. It later expanded to Europe in 2024 and it’s now making its way to Asia.
This expansion underscores Tesla’s growing influence in accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy, not only through its EVs but through its complete ecosystem offering.

Tesla Takeover Asia 2025 is a fully volunteer-driven event with an exciting lineup of activities, including insightful panel discussions featuring Tesla Owners Club presidents from Japan, Australia, and Silicon Valley. Influential content creators such as Tesla Joy, Brian White, and Alexandra Merz will also share their perspectives during the two-day event.
Attendees can look forward to a Tesla showcase featuring all four current models - Model S, Model 3, Model X and Model Y - alongside customized Tesla modifications for current and potential owners to explore.

Another key highlight of the event will be the always-popular Tesla Light Show, which showcases the brand’s innovative features in creating an unforgettable experience for the community.
Family-friendly activities such as Tesla joy rides, a treasure hunt, Tesla Light Show programming, a colouring contest, AMD-powered racing games, gaming zones, and more will ensure that Tesla fans of all ages can participate in the experience.

Entrance to the public exhibition, showcases, and live conference broadcast is free, while RM100 grants paid supporters access to the physical conference area with networking opportunities alongside VIPs and speakers.
With Tesla owners from Thailand and Singapore embarking on an electrified road trip down south and up north to the event, Tesla Takeover Asia 2025 promises to be an unmissable gathering for EV enthusiasts.

In addition, the recently opened-for-booking 2025 Tesla Model Y Juniper could make its Malaysian public debut at the event, following its showcase in Singapore and Thailand. Malaysian buyers are expected to take delivery of the updated Model Y as early as Apr 2025.
