To ensure the safety and security of all motorists during the busy Aidilfitri period, PLUS Malaysia Berhad has implemented stringent monitoring measures along the North-South Expressway. A network of 17 camera stations equipped with the advanced Automatic Awareness Safety System (AWAS) has been strategically deployed to keep a vigilant eye on traffic flow and driver behavior.

The Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) has identified several locations for the implementation of the AWAS cameras. These cameras are strategically placed along major roads and highways to monitor and enforce traffic regulations. 3046060.jpg
