Nissan Kicks e-Power Now Available Via GoCar From RM17.90 Per Hour
Local car-sharing platform GoCar Malaysia (GoCar) revealed this week that it has added the new and electrified Nissan Kicks e-Power into its fleet.
Local car-sharing platform GoCar Malaysia (GoCar) revealed this week that it has adopted the new Nissan Kicks e-Power into its fleet. This follows up from a partnership agreement forged by GoCar with Nissan brand vanguards Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM).
“At GoCar, our mission has always been to provide smarter, greener mobility solutions — and the Nissan Kick e-Power aligns perfectly with that vision,” said Wong Hoe Mun, CEO of GoCar Mobility Sdn Bhd.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with GoCar Mobility to make the Nissan Kicks e-Power more accessible to Malaysians. This ideal urban vehicle offers a unique and exhilarating driving experience, thanks to its advanced e-Power technology,” adds Khoo Cheng Pah, CEO of ETCM.
GoCar users keen to have a go with the Nissan Kicks e-Power can do so now where the electrified compact crossover’s rental rates start from RM17.90 per hour.
Launched during KLIMS 2024, the new compact crossover SUV from Nissan stands out in its segment thanks to its electrified range-extender/extended-range (REEV/EREV) e-Power powertrain. As noted prior, this tech promises EV-like performance minus the hassle of plugging in and range anxiety.
Notably, the Kicks e-Power also offer EV-like single-pedal driving mode (e-Pedal Step Mode), as well as the promise of up to 900 KM of travel range in between fill-ups. The latter stems from the e-Power setup’s use of a 1.2-litre 3-cyl petrol solely as a generator to charge up an e-motor unit.
You can get to know how the Nissan e-Power setup in Kicks performs when we drove it to Melaka and back via our First Drive report. We’ll also briefly remind you that ETCM currently retails the Kicks e-Power at RM113,800 (VL), RM121,800 (VLT), and RM125,800 (VLT, two-tone paint).
In conjunction with the Nissan Kicks e-Power's adoption into its fleet, GoCar has started a special campaign for it. See details below.
In conjunction with GoCar’s adoption of the Kicks e-Power, the car-sharing platform has also launched a special campaign for it too. Through which, GoCar users who book a drive with the Kicks e-Power are invited to share their experience and thoughts of it on social media.
Users who participate in this campaign stand a chance to win a portable vacuum cleaner. Take note, entries must tag @NissanMalaysia and include the #NissanKICKS #ePOWER hashtags in their postings on either Facebook or Instagram (T&Cs apply).
More details for this campaign are available via the GoCar app itself, which available via both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Alternatively, details are also available online at GoCar’s official website, as well as its official Facebook, Instagram and TikTok pages.
