According PRO-NET, the firm's latest figures indicates that it sells one unit of the Proton e.MAS 7 EV crossover each hour.

PRO-NET (Proton New Energy Technology) revealed today that sales of the Proton e.MAS 7 – the national automaker’s groundbreaking first EV model – has reached a total of 2,716 units since deliveries began back in Jan this year.

PRO-NET highlights said figure covers both local and overseas (export) deliveries, with 863 units shifted last month (April) alone too. Moreover, PRO-NET estimates that one e.MAS 7 unit is sold each hour.

In turn, the firm also highlights that the EV crossover SUV leads the local EV market space with a sizeable 26% market share too.

Since deliveries began, 2,716 units of the Proton e.MAS 7 have bene shifted thus far, and this figure covers both domestic and overseas (export) sales.

Altogether, PRO-NET touts that the sales momentum charted by the e.MAS 7 stands as a reflection of the growing acceptance amongst Malaysian car buyers towards EVs as a primary mode of transportation and mobility.

“To have one unit sold every hour shows how ready Malaysians are to embrace the EV future with the Proton e.MAS 7. Their trust and strong support have driven this success,” remarked PRO-NET CEO Zhang Jiang.

Additionally, PRO-NET says it is actively expanding its charging network for the e.MAS 7 too. To date, it has over 1,000 charging points listed across 397 high-rise residences.

Considering its growing numbers on local roads, PRO-NET has also kept itself busy with expanding its Integrated Live Charging Map feature for the e.MAS 7  – as well as all its smart Automobiles offerings.

Presently, the firm boasts over 2,500 charging points listed, with over 1,000 of which established across 397 high-rise apartments and condos. The firm also emphasised its aim to expand this further by partnering with more Charge Point Operators (CPOs).

With an on-going launch rebate offer for the first 6,000 units, the Proton e.MAS 7 is priced at RM105,900 (Prime) and RM119,800 (Premium).

Launched back in Dec 2024, the Proton e.MAS 7 is priced at RM109,800 (Prime) and RM123,800 (Premium). However, for the first 6,000 bookings, said prices are lowered to just RM105,800 and RM119,800 respectively thanks to a special launch rebate offer.

For reference, PRO-NET last revealed that total bookings for the Proton e.MAS 7 have surpassed 5,500 last month (April). In other words, expect said promotional rebate to end soon…
