Haval H6 HEV Sets ASEAN Record Charting Over 1,200 KM On A Single Tank

GWM Malaysia proudly announced a major milestone for the Haval H6 HEV. Earlier today, the automaker revealed said C-SUV is now officially listed by the ASEAN Records for achieving the longest single-tank distance traveled.
Adding further weight to which too are the highest number of verified owners surpassing 1,000 KMs - all under real-world driving conditions - recorded by the organisation..
As part of a recent nationwide fuel endurance challenge, 38 Haval H6 HEV owners successfully exceeded the 1,000 KM mark, with the longest verified distance reaching an impressive 1,242 KM on a single tank.

This marks the first time a hybrid SUV in the ASEAN region demonstrated such outstanding fuel efficiency in everyday driving scenarios, setting a new benchmark for what a modern SUV can achieve.
“This isn’t just a technical breakthrough - it’s a real-world endorsement of how far the Haval H6 HEV can take Malaysians,” said Cui Anqi, Managing Director of GWM Malaysia.

“It reflects the essence of our new direction: to elevate the everyday drive through proven innovation,” adds the exec further.
To celebrate this record-setting achievement, GWM Malaysia is introducing a new brand tag-line for the Haval H6 HEV: Elevate Your Everyday.

This new positioning signals an exciting chapter for the H6 HEV, highlighting its extended range, hybrid performance, premium comfort and advanced technology - all engineered to enhance the daily driving experience.
The ASEAN recognition also marks a shift from conventional fuel efficiency metrics based on controlled testing to real-world fuel endurance. It highlights what Malaysian drivers truly value: savings, long-range reliability, and the confidence to go further - all of which are especially important in light of the potential RON95 fuel subsidy removal later this year.
