RTS Link: Key Road Closure in JB Until End of 2026

A full road closure will begin today, June 3, and remain in effect until Dec 31, 2026, in Johor Bahru as part of ongoing works for the Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link project.
The affected stretch runs along Jalan Johor Bahru - Endau, from Section 0.10 to Section 0.20 and will be fully closed for a total duration of eighteen months and twenty-eight days.
This extended closure is necessary to facilitate critical construction activities, including bore piling, pile cap installation, pier column construction, and other related works. These are part of the larger RTS Link initiative aimed at improving cross-border connectivity between Johor Bahru and Singapore.

To manage traffic during this period, a diversion plan has been implemented.
Motorists traveling from Jalan Tun Abdul Razak toward Danga Bay will be redirected to Jalan Station, then onto Jalan Wong Ah Fook, before continuing to Jalan Tebrau. This route is marked in green on the official map.
Alternatively, drivers coming from Jalan Tun Abdul Razak 1 can use the road in front of Masjid Habib Hassan Al-Attas, proceed toward Danga City Mall, make a U-turn, rejoin Jalan Tun Abdul Razak and turn left onto Jalan Lingkaran Dalam. This route is marked in purple.

All drivers are urged to follow traffic signs and instructions from on-site traffic controllers. Safety measures will be in place throughout the closure to ensure smooth traffic flow.
The concessionaire also advises motorists to plan ahead, expect delays, and consider alternative routes. For updates and further information, road users are encouraged to follow RTS Link’s official channels.
