Launched: Refreshed 2025 Volvo XC60 – MHEV & PHEV, From RM333,888 Est.
Volvo Car Malaysia just announced the availability of the updated 2025 Volvo XC60 mid-sized luxury crossover earlier today.

Earlier today, Volvo Car Malaysia (VCM) officially announced the availability of the refreshed 2025 model year version of its global best-seller, that being the Volvo XC60 mid-sized luxury crossover.
For Malaysia, the XC60 continues to see two locally assembled (CKD) variants on offer, those being the mild-hybrid (MHEV) B5 and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) T8 guises. Excluding insurance, said variants are tagged at estimated figures of RM333,888 and RM367,888 respectively.
Said prices continue to include firstly a 5-year, unlimited mileage base vehicle warranty, followed by a separate 8-year or 160,000 km high-voltage (HV) battery warranty for the PHEV variant specifically.

Key exterior changes include a brand new grille design, revised front bumper, updated rolling stock, as well as a new darkened (smoked) taillight lenses. Additionally, there are new exterior paintjob choices too.

As detailed when it debuted globally earlier this year, the 2025MY iteration of the XC60 now rocks a brand new grille design that aligns it with the new XC90 and EX90 flagship luxury SUVs duo slotted above which.
Accompanying the new grill mentioned is a lightly redesigned front bumper, new ‘smoked’ (darkened) taillight lenses, as well as revised alloy wheels design. Capping the exterior changes are the new Forest Lake and Bright Dusk paintjob options.
Arguably the biggest change on board is the switch to a larger new 11.2-inch Google built-in infotainment touchscreen.

Other small changes to note include the repositioned wireless charging pad plus reconfigured cupholders and flexible storage bins.

Changes continue inside and this revised 2025MY version of the XC60 now boasts a larger new 11.2—inch Google built-in infotainment touchscreen display. Paired with this display too is premium Bowers & Wilkins surround audio suite.
Other changes in the cabin include a repositioned wireless charging pad, as well as reconfigured cupholders and flexible cargo spaces.
The 2025MY XC60 continues to see two variants on offer - B5 MHEV and T8 PHEV.

Mechanically, there appears to be no changes to note under the hood. With the B5 AWD grade, it continues to harness a 2.0-litre 4-cyl turbo petrol powerplant that’s partially electrified with a 48-volt Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) to deliver 249 hp and 350 Nm.
Said outputs also continue to power all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic and all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup that promises 0-100 km/h dashes done in 6.9 secs plus a claimed combined fuel economy of 7.6 litres/100 km.
Take note that for the T8 AWD PHEV range-topper, VCM will offer a complimentary air-suspension upgrade for a limited time only.

The range-topping T8 AWD PHEV variant, on the other hand, also continues mechanically unchanged. It sees an identical 2.0-litre 4-cyl turbo petrol mill augmented by an e-motor and 19 kWh battery pack, altogether outputting 462 hp and 709 Nm.
Also paired with an 8-speed automatic box plus AWD, this variant despatches 0-100 KM/H in just 4.8 secs. It also sips as low as 1.6 litres/100 km of fuel on average and offers up to 81 km of electric-only range.
Notably, VCM adds that it will offer this range-topper with the optional air-suspension suite upgrade as a complimentary add-on for a limited time only.
The 2025MY Volvo XC60 also continues to offer a barrage of ADAS features that enable semi-autonomous driving abilities.

Lastly, in terms of safety, the 2025 Volvo XC60 for Malaysia continues to see both variants brimmed with Volvo’s ADAS features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and collision avoidance.
Viewing and bookings for the refreshed 2025 Volvo XC60 are now opened at all authorised dealerships and showrooms nationwide.
