ChargeSini & Meta Bright Spark Opens First JV Station at Sunway Pyramid, 6 AC Chargers @ RM1.09/kWh

ChargeSini has fired up its latest EV charging hub in Sunway Pyramid, marking the first location rolled out under its partnership with Meta Bright Group.
The site sets the tone for an expanded national build-out as both parties push to accelerate public charging access in high-traffic urban hubs. The joint venture, Meta Bright Chargesini Sdn Bhd, sees Meta Bright taking a 51% stake and ChargeHere EV Solution, operator of the ChargeSini network holding 49%.

With over 1,200 charging points already live nationwide, ChargeSini brings scale, app integration and operational experience to the table, while Meta Bright strengthens its clean-energy footprint through an ESG-driven expansion strategy.
Sunway Pyramid is the partnership’s first showcase location. Situated at Level CP4, Pillar E3E (Green Zone), the hub features six AC chargers, three 22 kW units and three 7 kW units. Charging here is priced at RM1.09 per kWh with a minimum RM5 session fee, while mall parking is charged separately at RM3 for the first hour and RM1 for each subsequent hour.

ChargeSini recently updated its idle policy, and Sunway Pyramid adopted the new structure. EV users now receive a 30-minute grace period after charging ends, double the previous 15 minutes before idle fees kick in.
The idle fee remains at RM1 for every five minutes and only applies once the site reaches 50% occupancy, ensuring fairness and preventing unnecessary bay hogging.


This rollout underscores the growing demand for convenient charging in lifestyle destinations where dwell times naturally match charging durations. For Meta Bright and ChargeSini, Sunway Pyramid represents the first step in a wider urban corridor strategy, with deployment plans already spanning Johor, Penang, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Pahang and Melaka.

As Malaysia’s EV adoption rises, Sunway Pyramid’s new chargers arrive as a timely boost, making one of the Klang Valley’s busiest malls even more EV-friendly, and signalling a fast-moving partnership intent on electrifying more public spaces nationwide.
