PRO-NET Backs Proton Business Case Challenge 2025

PRO-NET is participating in the Proton Business Case Challenge 2025, a nationwide initiative designed to showcase the business insight and innovative thinking of university students.
Organised under the Proton Young Talent (PYT) Programme, the competition gives students a platform to work through real-world automotive challenges and develop data-driven ideas that reflect the rapidly evolving mobility landscape.
PRO-NET CEO Zhang Qiang said the challenge offers a look at how young Malaysians see the future of the industry. With electric vehicles gaining momentum, PRO-NET hopes the experience will encourage participants to think boldly, act decisively and propose solutions that match emerging trends.

The company views its involvement as part of a broader commitment to nurturing young talent and supporting their pathway into the automotive sector.
The competition will run through six regional rounds before concluding with a Grand Finale on Dec 13, 2025. Teams of four to five students will analyse business scenarios, formulate strategies and present their solutions under timed conditions, putting collaboration, creativity and strategic problem-solving to the test.
PRO-NET will appear at several universities throughout the competition, including Universiti Malaya on Nov 17, Universiti Utara Malaysia on Nov 19 and Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia on Nov 26.

The challenge is open to Malaysian citizens who are final-year Bachelor’s or Master’s students aged 26 and below in 2025.
Winners will receive cash prizes of up to RM5,000, with the Top Presenter earning RM1,000. More notably, standout participants will receive Conditional Offers to join the Proton Young Talent Programme after graduation, giving them structured development, mentorship and hands-on exposure as they prepare for a career with Proton.
