New Standalone MINI Showroom Opens In Ipoh

Leading dealers Tian Siang Premium Auto have opened their first standalone MINI showroom outlet in Ipoh, Perak, recently.


MINI Malaysia (BMW Group Malaysia) sees its brand network expanded slightly in the Peninsular’s northern corridor. Opening its doors recently is a new standalone MINI showroom (1S) outlet located in Ipoh, Perak.

Said new outlet is operated by dealers Tiang Siang Premium Auto. It stands as the dealer firm’s first standalone MINI brand outlet, and only the second of its kind nationwide after MINI Bangsar.

This is only the second standalone MINI brand outlet of its kind established in Malaysia after MINI Bangsar.


“This expansion not only signifies our commitment to delivering the unique MINI experience but also reflects the growing enthusiasm for the brand in Malaysia,” expressed Benjamin Nagel, MD of BMW Group Malaysia.

“With the new charging station at our dealership, we are also enabling our customers to seamlessly transition to Electrified Mobility with greater ease and convenience,” adds Mak Kam Hong, Dealer Principal of Tian Siang Premium Auto (MINI).

Besides a five-car showroom space, the outlet also houses a Customer Lounge and Entertainment Zone under its roof.


This new standalone MINI brand outlet operated by Tiang Siang Premium Auto is situated along Ipoh’s Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman stretch. The outlet spans a total built up space of 6,500 square feet to house a five-car showroom.

The outlet also houses familiar facilities under its roof such as a Customer Lounge and Entertainment Zone. The outlet is manned by 12 dedicated staff members trained to deliver a seamless brand and dealership experience.

Dealers Tian Siang Premium Auto also collaborated with Gentari to prime the outlet with a pair of 180 kW DC fast chargers plus a pair of 22 kW AC chargers too.


Critically, dealers Tiang Siang Premium Auto have also collaborated with leading electric vehicle (EV) charging point operators (CPO) Gentari to equip this outlet with two 180 kW DC fast chargers plus two 22 kW AC chargers on premise.

The DC fast chargers noted are accessible via the Gentari Go app, and it sees a starting cost of RM1.70 per kWh. 

As for operation hours, this new standalone MINI showroom in Ipoh detailed operates from 8:30AM to 5:30PM on weekdays, from 8:30AM to 5:00PM on Saturdays, and from 10AM to 5PM on both Sundays and Public Holidays.
