Super GT Malaysia Round Revs Up With RM80 Early Bird Tickets and More
Japan's renowned Super GT racing championship marks its return to Malaysia this year and will race once again at Petronas SIC on June 27 and 28.
As reported prior, the 2025 Autobacs Super GT racing championship from Japan marks its return to Malaysia at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit (SIC) this year. Haro Sports & Entertainment, promoters for the event, have also shifted into high gear ahead of which.
Slated to take place on June 27 and 28, promoters Haro Sports & Entertainment announced several highlights that avid fan can look forward to. Firstly, online ticket sales have begun via the event’s official website – www.supergtmalaysia.com.
For a limited time only, Early Bird tickets are now on sale priced at RM80 for K1 Grandstand seats, RM200 for Main Grandstand seats, and RM2,000 for each GT Club Paddock Hospitality Lounge pass. Take note, each ticket/pass purchase is also subjected to an additional RM3 surcharge.
Event promoters Haro Sports & Entertainment partnered with the renowned Nihon Matsuri Japanese cultural festival organised by Trumpet International for the race weekend too.
For the uninitiated, Super GT features two ultra-competitive racing classes competing simultaneously on-track, those being the GT500 silhouette class and the GT3-based GT300 class. Both feature entries using top-flight racecars from the world’s leading automakers – supercars included.
Headlining the premier GT500 class are leading Japanese automakers like Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Nissan, and Subaru. The supporting GT300 class, on the other hand, sees its field comprised of GT3 machines from marques such as Mercedes-AMG, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and more.

The Malaysian round of this year’s Super GT championship will be held as the third round of the season, and it will be the series’ only overseas round held this year. The weekend’s format will see competitors covering 300 KM in distance for Sunday’s main race event.
Whilst the return of Japan’s top-flight GT racecars stand as the weekend’s main on-track highlight, the inaugural running of the first GR86 Cup Series Malaysia 2025 round will serve as a secondary on-track highlight for race fans to look forward to.
The latter is a brand new series that will see four championship rounds held throughout the year at SIC, and it will feature a 30-car grid – this now stands as one of the largest one-make racing championship series organised in Malaysia.
Besides the on-track racing action, the partnering Nihon Matsuri Japanese cultural festival will feature a slew of thematic and vibrant Japanese culture, activities, as well as cuisine for visitors to indulge in.
To spice things up further for fans, organisers Haro Sports & Entertainment have also partnered with Nihon Matsuri – the renowned and largest Japanese cultural and food festival that’s organised annually by Trumpet International.
Having successfully drawn over 100,000 visitors across its three-year existence, visitors can immerse with many different thematic and vibrant Japanese culture, activities, as well as both Japanese and Japanese-inspired street cuisine.
More details of the event are available online via its official website, supergtmalaysia.com.
