The 2025 Super GT Malaysian round will also be held in conjunction with the inaugural Toyota GR86 Cup Malaysia Series.

Besides the main race itself, the 2025 Super GT Malaysian round will be accompanied by several interesting supporting bills and festivals, including Round 2 of the Toyota Gazoo Racing Vios Challenge Season 8 and the GR86 Cup Malaysia Series—both organised by UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT), who is the title sponsor for this round. Notably, this is the first time the GR86 Cup Malaysia Series will be held, with Bridgestone coming along as the Official Tyre Supplier for the inaugural series.
