2026 Denza D9 Set For 15% Price Hike, Limited Tax-Free 2025 Stocks Left
The Denza D9 is set to see a 15% price hike for any of its incoming 2026MY units. However, tax-free 2025MY units are still available, though stocks are now "limited", claims Denza Malaysia.

If you’ve been eyeing up to acquire the Denza D9 all-electric (EV) luxury MPV, then perhaps now is the time for you to scramble for any of the tax-free 2025 model year unit that are still available in stock through authorised dealers as announced last week.
Earlier today, the BYD-owned luxury sub-brand’s Malaysian arm (Denza Malaysia) revealed it has “limited” stocks left of said tax-free units imported prior to the Dec 28, 2025 deadline.
As a recap, the Denza D9 was launched in early 2025 priced at RM259,000 (Advanced FWD) and RM309,000 (Premium AWD). Said figures rise up to RM299,000 and RM355,000 respectively with the 15% hike.

Moreover, Denza Malaysia also confirmed that the D9 model mentioned is set to experience a price hike at a rate of 15% in 2026. In turn, this sees the model command nett selling prices of RM299,000 in Advanced FWD guise, and RM355,000 in Premium AWD guise.
For reference, the Denza D9 was tagged at RM259,000 (Advanced FWD) and RM309,000 (Premium AWD) when it was first launched back in early 2025. In other words, the 15% hike translates to a hefty increments of RM40,000 and RM46,000 respectively.

2025 tax-free stocks are still available, and you need only head over to your nearest authorised dealer to book one now.

As a refresher, fully imported (CBU) EVs entering Malaysia this year will be subjected with import duties. We’ll also add EV road tax rates have also increased this year – it will cost either RM335 (Advanced FWD) and RM485 (Premium AWD) per annum.
As reported – and experienced – prior, the Denza D9 Advanced FWD packs a front-mounted e-motor that puts out 313 PS (230 kW) and 360 Nm. This variant also packs a 103.6 kWh battery pack that promises to yield a max range of up to 520 KM (WLTP).

The Premium AWD guise instead boasts a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup that boasts peppier 374 PS (270 kW) and 470 Nm outputs. It makes do with slightly lower max range of 480 KM (WLTP), but does gain diSus-C adaptive dampers instead.
