Summary

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) recently launched the locally-assembled (CKD) version of the A-Class Sedan, which is notably more affordable than the previous, fully-imported (CBU) model that first arrived here in April 2019.
The CKD A-Class Sedan is offered in two variants, the base A 200 Progressive Line goes for RM210,903, making it RM11,000 less than before, while the A 250 AMG Line has gone down by RM19,000 at RM239,858. These figures are on-the-road without insurance, factoring in full sales and service tax (SST) exemption that has been extended to June 30, 2022.

Dashboard

The dashboard is made of high-quality materials and an intuitive ergonomic design. The layout is user friendly, with buttons and switches easily accessible.

Instrument Cluster

Digital multi-info display fitted between two analogue meters for both A 200 and A 250

Seats

These models use electrically adjustable seats with memory functions, and front-seats finishing has a more luxurious look with 60:40 Split-folding rear 

Space

Being the best of its segment with regard to rear headroom (944 mm), these sedans offer great utility that includes above-average shoulder, elbow and headroom plus easy access to the rear.

Storage Space

The Mercedess A Class Sedans come with a regular size glove compartment that can fit in your service booklet and a few packets of wet tissues with extra space left for other items. It also has a small armrest storage compartment that is spacious enough to hide your handphones and smart tag. Additionally, both front seats come with organisers at the back.

Steering Functions

Both A 200 progressive line and A 250 AMG line have Rack and pinion with electric power steering, accompanied with the audio, cruise control, phone function. The sportier steering wheels covered in leather gives an avant-garde feel with tilt and telescopic function.

Both models come equipped with 2 cup holders at the front and another 2 at the rear
