Nissan Kicks e-POWER equipped with 2 variants: the Kicks e-POWER E & e-POWER V

Vietnam Automotive Industry Development Co., Ltd (VAD), the exclusive distributor of Nissan car brand in Vietnam has officially unveiled the all-new Nissan Kicks e-POWER.
The brand-new Nissan Kicks e-POWER is being imported straight from Thailand and will be available in 2 varieties: the Kicks e-POWER E and Kicks e-POWER V. Each of them comes with a choice of 6 colours namely Pearl White, Black, Red, Blue, Gray and Orange.
In terms of body dimensions, the new model consists of 4.305 mm length, 1.760 mm width, and 1.615 mm height. Meanwhile, the wheelbase is 2,620 mm, clearance is 182 mm, and the minimum turning radius is 5.100 mm.

Apart from a fresh and sporty appearance, the Nissan Kicks e-POWER also comes with a large boomerang-shaped Full LED headlamp cluster that embraces the daytime running LED strip, the distinctive V-motion grille which combined with the arrow-shaped LED tail lights.
Moving inside, there’s a D-cut steering wheel along with a zero-gravity driver's seat that is inspired by Nasa technology. This means it could simulate the human posture in a state of zero gravity to reduce pressure on the back, pelvis, and upper body, bringing the relaxing driving ambience.
On top of that, Nissan Kicks e-POWER provides a wide 7-inch advanced driver assistance screen and an 8-inch A-IVI entertainment screen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connection. Adding on to that, the model has big storage capacity for the baggage compartment which carries up to 432L, as well as a practical emergency tyre patch kit.

Under the hood, it consists of 1.2 litre DOHC 12-valve 3-cylinder engine and fuel efficiency with 2.2L/100km for city driving which rides on 17-inch wheels. Equipped with 2nd Generation e-POWER technology, the model churns out maximum power of 128 hp and highest torque of 280 Nm.
According to President of Nissan Motor Thailand Isao Sekiguchi, he has stated that Nissan will provide customers with an exciting, electrified driving experience through the all-new Kicks e-POWER which at the same time contributes to the pursuit of a sustainable future for all.
"We are very excited to take another step in strengthening our commitment to Vietnam and driving innovation that enriches people's lives with the launch of the award-winning all-new Kicks e-POWER to Vietnam today’’ he added.
In terms of its rivalry, we can compare it to the ultimate Honda HR-V which selling price starts from RM114,800 for the 1.5L S variant, followed by RM129,800 (1.5T E variant), RM134,800 (1.5T V variant) and RM140,800 for the 1.5L e: HEV RS variant.
However, the topic of whether the sporty Nissan Kicks e-POWER will be made accessible for the local market remains unclear, despite the fact that one of the units is being tested here in Malaysia.
Let’s say the Nissan Kicks e-POWER manages to waltz its way through to Malaysia, the costs per unit could reach around RM 150 K (D 789 million) to RM 164 K (VND 858 million).
